Someone I know... dropped $1300 on this and tells me she "loves it but it's not idling properly"
It also has a vacuum leak, exhaust leak, needs new tires, and has a power steering issue.
I had some of us even try to talk to her out of it as well but... just see for yourself.

Oh man, there was one of these for sale up here a couple winters ago. I tried to get the wife on board so I could get it as a winter beater but she's stuck on us having only 3 vehicles total dealy.

I actually think it is kind of cool. Not $1300 cool for that condition and mileage(190k on 80's turbo subaru*mindblowngif), but still cool.

Alright, I'll toss some more info about this in since I own the car. The cover picture does look pretty bad, showing all of the peeled clearcoat, but the driver's side, top, and interior are in much better condition. As for the engine, it was replaced in 2003 witha rebuilt one from a 1989. The underside is mostly free of rust as the previous owner had it undercoated at some point. The suspension isn't worn out. The things that don't work: idle, exhaust leak, cruise control, power steering pump dying. Lastly, I wouldn't have bought it if I weren't mechanically inclined myself, plus I have some gearhead friends that know a lot. And yes, the $1300 is slightly more than I wanted to pay, but cars seem to be a lot more expensive on the used market here, think $4000 for an old Saturn...
